Delete Your CrickCircle Account

You can ask us to permanently delete your CrickCircle account and associated personal data at any time. Deletion cannot be undone. See our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle data.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to criccirclee@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
  2. Include the phone number or email address you use to sign in to CrickCircle.
  3. We may send a one-time code to that phone number or email to confirm the request really comes from you.
  4. Once verified, your account is deleted within 30 days and we confirm by email.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, login credentials and linked phone number / email / Google sign-in
  • Profile details: name, username, photo, playing role, city
  • Friends list, friend requests, posts, comments and likes
  • Push notification tokens and stored location data

What may be retained

  • Match scorecards you took part in stay available to the other players, but your name is replaced with "Deleted user" and is no longer linked to you.
  • Records required by law (for example, fraud-prevention or transaction records) may be kept for the period the law requires, typically up to 180 days, and then deleted.
  • Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis within 90 days.

Deleting some data only

You can edit or remove most profile information, posts and friends directly in the app. To request removal of specific data without deleting your account, email criccirclee@gmail.com describing what you want removed.
